The Princess Turned TWO!

Our sweet, little, KK turned two. It is crazy to think that at this time two years ago I was holing a newborn baby! Right now, MY baby sister is in the hospital with her newborn baby. Being in there with her has brought back lots of memories! These last two years has flown by, and have been such a joy. KK is by far the brightest, loudest, most enthusiastic, most vocal, prettiest, person in this family. She really enjoys every moment of life with gusto! We have all decided that she gets that from my mom, her Gramzy! I have to say that I love every second of it...okay that is not correct, I love it all when it doesn't last for ten hours on our trip home to Montana! KK loves music, coloring, dancing, singing (well, it is singing but it sounds like shouting!), playing with her blocks, babies, horses, riding her bike, following Scrubba around, helping me cook, snuggling her daddy(I like to snuggle him too!). Her life is a miracle according to the doctors and we all agree that we are blessed because of her. I love you KK! You are my beautiful princess!

Three Months Down, Six to Go!

We are finally passing our first trimester for our newest addition! I wish I could say that magically I feel better....but that doesn't seem to be happening like I thought it was. I had four days of relief, but that was all. I really can't complain, I have lots of friends and family who have had it worse in their pregnancies! I am so excited for this little baby!

IT"S COMING!

I am so excited for Christmas, and yet I feel time is going too fast for me to enjoy it they way I want to. AHHH....no matter what, time keeps on ticking away, even if I need it to pause for just a moment or two!

Being Lazy

For some reason, I have been so busy with the holidays and with life in general that I have not been able to exercise. I am getting frustrated with myself because, of all the times of year when I NEED to EXERCISE, I am being LAZY! So, as the holidays move on, my size moves up and maybe I will have more energy and motivation when the swimsuit season is near.

Thanksgiving Fun

We had a wonderful time with the family during Thanksgiving. I don't think I saw my kids at all...between playing with their cousins or getting spoiled by Gramzy, our paths didn't cross much. I always love seeing my family. We are all so different, and yet so alike in so many ways. I am so lucky to have such amazing people who are not only my family but truly my friends as well! I love you all! Thanks Brock and Jenny for hosting our festivities. Is Christmas at my house this year, with Bridget having her baby and all?

Did you just say THAT?

I have been blessed with children who speak extremely early for their ages and they just never slow up! KK has been cracking me up with the things she is saying. It cracks me up at the time, but makes me realize that she is saying things that I say...and she is not old enough to say these things (I think) Here are a couple of things she said, remember that it is hard to read these words and get the full effect, her voice makes it all the better.

When she was having a hard time fixing the jammies on her baby, she said, " I am sick and tired of this!" I said, "KK, what are you sick and tired of?" She replies, "I am sick and tired of these jammies!)

A few days ago, I told KK that it was naughty to do something. She seemed to understand. Yesterday she had a friend a friend over and she stood above her and pointed her finger down at her and said, " No, No, NO! Ellie, Naughty, Naughty, Naughty!" Ellie was just sitting on the stairs looking at her with sad eyes. When I told KK that it was not nice for her to yell at her friends she said, "I be nice now Mommy!"

Scrubba is always doing funny things, but they are harder to remember or to catch it the right way for a post. He did tell me yesterday that they get to dress up for school soon to show what they want to be when they grow up. I asked him what he wanted to dress up as, and he said, "I will be a Pokemon Trainer, of course!"

Holidays

I am really excited about the upcoming holidays. Well, actually, I am just really excited to see my family for Thanksgiving. My kids talk about seeing Uncle Brock ALL the time. I think it is so cute. Out of all of my siblings, he is the one we see the least, and I guess that they look forward to every moment with his family! Scrubba is up making a book about our Thanksgiving this year and it talks only of Brock and his family. I am happy about this for many reasons:
1. I love that my kids love their family members near and far
2. I love that I have been blessed with such wonderful family members on both sides of the family....I am the luckiest girl in the world!
3. I love that Scrubba is actually doing some writing on his own! The kid usually doesn't like to write/draw/anything using his fine motor skills!
4. I love that KK DOES love to do all of those things on her own, maybe she is rubbing off on him.
5. I love that I have control of my radio and I don't have to listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving is over...okay, that was a random one, but I really like to enjoy each holiday one at a time!
