I am really excited about the upcoming holidays. Well, actually, I am just really excited to see my family for Thanksgiving. My kids talk about seeing Uncle Brock ALL the time. I think it is so cute. Out of all of my siblings, he is the one we see the least, and I guess that they look forward to every moment with his family! Scrubba is up making a book about our Thanksgiving this year and it talks only of Brock and his family. I am happy about this for many reasons:
1. I love that my kids love their family members near and far
2. I love that I have been blessed with such wonderful family members on both sides of the family....I am the luckiest girl in the world!
3. I love that Scrubba is actually doing some writing on his own! The kid usually doesn't like to write/draw/anything using his fine motor skills!
4. I love that KK DOES love to do all of those things on her own, maybe she is rubbing off on him.
5. I love that I have control of my radio and I don't have to listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving is over...okay, that was a random one, but I really like to enjoy each holiday one at a time!

Amen to the Christmas music business! I would love to see Scrubba's book! Hope you have fun visiting family! Slap your mom's backside for me..okay...maybe for Brian too! :)
I hear you, we listen to FM100 in the car, because it is a happy median for me and the kids. Needless to say we are no longer listening to it because it is way to early for Christmas music. I hope you have a great Thnaksgiving
Lucky for us our ThanksGiving has long gone by
and Christmas music is totally playing all around
us. I for one have not dug it out of the Christmas
boxes yet.. I can't bring myself to start the music
until it is at least December, or snowed.. which
it has not done yet.. Not that I am complaining..
Snow can keep away for as long as it wants.
Either way.. I love the holidays.. Family time..
No matter what holiday it is..
Are you kidding me? No Christmas music yet? I live by Scott's motto - "I will honor Christmas in my heart and try to keep it all the year!"
Halloween is over - let the bells ring out for the season! :)
(Besides, Mark just bought the tickets to the concert and guess what? We're in the balcony because we weren't thinking about Christmas early enough! Oops.)
*grin*
