Pictures! I know, it's a shock!

Here are just a few pictures of my KK. I just love how each day...no scratch that, each hour she can be a completely different person! One day she wanted to go to school like Scrubba, so she put on his backpack, and our neighbor's frog boots and waved good-bye to me! This all happened not long after she told me she had to have on a princess dress (she settled for the skirt that she is wearing). The next day, she wanted to wear her tu-tu. Gramzy bought it for her and she loves it. Gramzy also bought her the cowgirl boots that she is wearing with the tu-tu. I thought she looked darling! She loved the opportunity for the photo shoot! Then, on one of the days that I was babysitting, all the kids played pirates....she fit right in! In the pirate picture, my kids are on the far left, and then in the middle on the right. Anyway, I sure love my girl!

An Update...

We had our ultrasound and we didn't find out what we are having....and I am loving it! It was my hubby's plan to not find out b/c he wants the big surprise when the baby is born. I always love to know just for planning reasons. Anyway, I have had my way for the last 2 kids and was fine with trying it his way! The best part of the whole deal is that it is driving HIM CRAZY!!! He can't decide if he made the right decision...he wonders if he still wants to know! I love seeing the decision torment him! We will have to see what the future brings, we may find out on HIS terms ONLY! I will not give in! I am more stubborn than that. All in all I feel great. The baby moves lots and it is soooo fun for me. We have been to Montana and are going to Colorado soon, without daddy (someone has to work around here!) We are excited for the chance to see our family in other states! Our kids travel great and that helps. Anyway, that is our update. The huz thinks he wants to edit this post...let's see if he can figure it out!

Mother Nature is a TEASE!!

I always get tricked during this time of year...Mother Nature makes me think that spring is on its way, and so I get really excited and I start making my spring cleaning list, and then in a couple of days it snows--no not just a small snow--a BIG snow. I actually think in February, Mother Nature knows that we are all getting a little cabin fever, so she does us a favor and throws in a couple of beautiful days to help us survive the long winter months! She is actually being NICE and here I am complaining! I do love to be outside, and I look forward to the day that I can run (okay, let's be honest, I will have to walk until this baby is born) outside again. I love being able to send the kids outside to play, and they love it too, but not when it is so cold and muddy out! So, Mother Nature, thanks for the warm weather that reminds us that spring is not too far off! I promise to be more grateful!

Almost 1/2 way!

I was looking at my schedule for the next couple of weeks and I noticed that I have my ultrasound in just over a week! Wow! We are almost 1/2 way done with this pregnancy....yippee! I am so excited for a new little one to join our family. I don't want to rush the next four months, I could use all the time it takes just to get KK potty trained! Then, MAYBE we won't have two kids in diapers!

Zion

AHHHH!!! I really wish I could remember to blog in backwards order. It would make more sense if you read the post below this one--FIRST! I just get so excited that I forget how this all works!

We found Zion within our own family when we went hiking together at Zion's National Park. We have not had a family trip, with JUST our family for a very long time! It was a wonderful experience, and we will cherish the memories that we made together! I was so excited to take the kids hiking! It is one of my favorite things to do, so I always hope that they enjoy it as much as I do! The weather was so beautiful! We all came home with rosy cheeks and happy smiles! When we got back to our motel we took the kids swimming in the pool again and it was much warmer than that morning! We swam until we were tired and had pizza for room service, watched a good movie and went to sleep! Now we are ready for a return to our everyday lives in the winter weather!

Family Fun in the...SUN?

I know that this picture doesn't look much to you, but it tells a story for us! Our family got to take advantage of Scrubba's long weekend from school! He didn't have school on Monday or Tuesday so we decided to go with daddy to St. George! Daddy has a few accounts down there and we thought it would be fun to see some sun for a few days. We didn't even get here until Sunday night so we didn't see any sun on that SUNday! Monday morning the kids were sooooo excited to play in the pool. I looked outside and saw...FROST on the cars! The pool is said to be 85 degrees, so we thought it would be okay to try it out, for the kids of course! Here are some pictures of that wonderful morning splash! Okay, so I thought that the top two pictures would show up after my writing, I don't blog enough to really get all of the little tricks down! Anyway, it was cold, cold, cold outside! The 85 degree pool didn't seem warm enough to make up the difference. Finally the kids and daddy went to the hot tub....being pregnant didn't allow for me to follow! They had a wonderful time warming up in there and splashing around together! I love that the pictures show all of the steam. It was a fun way to start our day, that did end up in the sun!

Fessing Up

So, my sweet husband checks our blog, and others, might I add almost daily I suppose. I think this is funny because I NEVER get to check or write or do anything on the computer! He made the comment that I have not put pictures up for a while, and I agreed. I have not posted much or put any photos of my family for a long time! I have been so busy with other things that blogging has NOT been a priority! So, here is the part where I fess up. I'll admit that I have come down for a brief second to check on things and noticed that on my blog site where I keep up with all of my friends and family is not up to date, and that it doesn't update itself until I add to my blog! That drives me crazy! So, it is moments like these that I do a short, random post just to get updates on my loved ones! I think I would be fine to just watch and read others do amazing things rather than me doing some myself! I guess it all comes down to the fact that I only have time to do one or the other--read or post--and I just want to read! I will try to be better, and share a little of my so called life with others as well... I guess it is only fair!
